After the massive success of Balls To The Wall, Accept are back with 1985’s Metal Heart. While not as strong as its predecessor, it remains a solid bit of mid-80s Teutonic metal. The band have already established their signature sound at this point, but there’s just a hint of uncertainty whether to pursue a more commercial direction or build on their already well received heavier sound. Metal Heart is somewhere in the middle, though still way heavy compared to a lot of others at the time. Accept had some crushing guitar tone back then… not their best effort but this LP still hits hard.
1985 US pressing on Portrait and its clean. Great release version.
