Scorching Beauty marks Iron Butterfly’s return, sort of… basically, Ron Bushy resurrected the band with all new members and also brought back guitarist Erik Brann from the classic lineup era, but this version of Iron Butterfly is an entirely different thing. It’s not a bad album, but it’s not hard to comprehend how this didn’t really have enough impact to bring the band back into the spotlight.
