Open Hostility picks up right where Shotgun Justice left off. Insane riffs with tight as balls compositions and lyrical themes about beating the shit out of stupid people that did them wrong, etc. Drummer Rob Mills was apparently in a car accident just prior to the planned recording sessions for this album and unable to perform. In his absence, guitarist Dave Carlo decided to simply program the drums and move forward. While Carlo actually does a great job with the programming, the actual sound of these drums is less than ideal, but the album is so good I tend to let it slide. Still giving Mills credit since he was still in the band and certainly crafted the original playing the programming was built around.
2009 Canadian reissue from War On Music. Also picked up in Helsinki, hah.
