Shotgun Justice is a beast of an album. The band’s first with new singer Bobnoxious, following their split with Sheepdog McLaren. While Sheepdog remains my favorite singer for Razor, Bobnoxious delivers. The fucking riffs on this thrashterpiece cannot be denied. Absolute brutality.
Let us take a moment to soak in the beauty of the cover art on this album. Razor have always been strong contenders in the objectively bad cover art realm, but I think this might be the band’s most severe crime against art. As glorious as it is offensive.
2009 Canadian reissue from War On Music. Landed this at a place called Music Hunter in Helsinki, Finland back in 2014. Pro tip: Helsinki is loaded with many insanely good record shops.
