Fucking immaculate! One of my all time favorite stoner/doom/jams/free-floating albums of all time. This album needs no direction as it navigates the sea of stars with an uncanny familiarity that continues to haunt me to this day. This album is an instrumental stoner masterwork and stands above a literal sea of others trying to master this style in the early 2000s, yet Sea Of Tombs does it best, then proceeds to disappear forever. Of course, drummer Mario Rubalcaba would go on as a founding member of Earthless which totally makes sense.
2001 US pressing on Gravity. Uh, sounds fucking amazing.
