Scorn Defeat is the debut full length album from Japanese avant-garde black metal pioneers Sigh. This album cranks out some awesome black metal based on Japanese folklore, but there is a shit ton more going on here. Groundbreaking, yes! Typical, not at all.
2020 European reissue on Peaceville Records and it’s awesome.
