TAB 4 is of course the fourth album from The Atomic Bitchwax. At the time this came out I wasn’t sure how I felt about this iteration of the band. It’s less intense and more laid back in comparison to much of the band’s prior efforts it’s grown on me over the years. The band will eventually regain that wild intensity, but for the moment, the tunes are pretty chill in comparison.
2009 US pressing on Tee Pee Records. I landed this at the most excellent Human Head Records in Brooklyn, NY. If you ever find yourself in the area, do yourself a favor and drop into this fine little shop.
