Here we have the debut album from the Far East Family Band. The band is already on solid footing here for the most part. They have their sound dialed in and compositions are good. The only thing lacking seems to be that the production, or almost the mastering on this album has always sounded too quiet and not very dynamic, but I’ve only really heard unofficial copies of the album to go from. None of that ruins the listening experience for me, and pretty much always up for a spin of this one.
2024 German unofficial reissue on a label called Life Goes On Records. Aside from the aforementioned mix/mastering complaints, it’s a good pressing, flat, clean, and a nice print job featuring the less common green border artwork from the 1980 German pressing. I like it.
