Omega, hailing from Hungary, has a long and storied history going all the way back to 1962 and the band has hit upon all kinds of musical genres. I’m not super up to speed on Omega’s history at this point, but recently came across their 1973 self titled LP and decided it was time to dig in. Heavy progressive rock with some psych and symphonic vibes, and no joke, this shit jams. Solid album.
2022 German reissue on the MiG label. Found this at Amoeba Music in San Francisco, brand new for like $14, so had no choice but to pick it up.
