This is the third album released by Drudkh founding member Roman Saenko’s ambient/dungeon synth side project Dark Ages. Like the first couple of Dark Ages albums, it continues to lean into the whole plague music vibe that isn’t something I’d normally say I’m “a fan of” but that I kind of dig in this particular case, at least. I’m fighting a mad headache at the moment, so this type of dark ethereal music is quite nice when the brain is pulsating.
2010 Finnish pressing from a label called Primitive Reaction. This is the second time I’ve found a Dark Ages LP at Amoeba Music in San Francisco and the only two times I’ve come across their LPs in the wild.
