Octopus is a stunning album from London prog masters Gentle Giant. There is so much worked into this record, and somehow it all works beautifully. Prog, jazz, fusion, folk, psych, classical, dissonance, there’s a lot to take in. Masters of their craft. I love the US cover, but am baffled as to why the original Roger Dean artwork was not used for the US version.
