Named after a city in Egypt, Khemmis (from Denver) play a mix of doom metal and traditional heavy metal with a shade of stoner rock in the mix. Absolution is their debut LP and it’s still kind of my favorite after, though the band have been pretty consistent in releasing high quality tunes. Solid record.
2018 repress on 20 Buck Spin and it’s more than fine.
