This is a split release 12-inch featuring a single song from each band. The Melvins track “Sweet Young Thing Ain’t Sweet No More” is a Mudhoney cover. Steel Pole Bathtub covers Sonic Youth’s “I Dreamed I Dream” and it’s great, but don’t really know much about Steel Pole Bathtub… It’s a solid single release though.
1990 UK pressing on Tupelo. I’ve had this probably since not long after it came out and think I landed it at a record show.
