I stumbled across this 3xLP box set while digging around Amoeba Music in San Francisco recently and figured I hadda have it. I’ve read some criticism about the production values and some questioning why this was chosen over other archival recordings to be released, but it’s a perfectly great sounding show. Yes, the production isn’t stellar, but it’s plenty rich for what it needs to be and the performance itself if phenomenal. Lots to love!
2023 US/EU RSD special release box set. While the LPs sound great and the box is cool, it doesn’t really include and extras or anything aside from the records themselves. While I could image folks being unhappy about that, I paid $30 for this sealed, so I ain’t complaining.
