Tanith is a band founded by Satan guitarist Russ Tippins and bassist/vocalist Cindy Maynard. Both Tippins and Maynard trade off lead vocals, often harmonizing together and it makes for a very late 1970s sounding progressive rock, proto-metal kind of sound. Honestly, this album is kind of beautiful. Another time, seriously. I could live in that time. Tippins’ uniquely distinctive and intricate guitar work is unmistakable and really shines through on this LP. Beautiful music.
