Volume Two is just as mad as Soft Machine’s debut, but it’s a bit more nuanced with a lot of cool interludes and short pieces blending the tracks tracks together for an unbroken listening experience with each side. More jazz influenced, but not in any kind of traditional way. Wild annd brilliant album that I dearly do. It listen to enough.
1969 US pressing on ABC Records/Scope. This is the non-gatefold printing, but it sounds awesome.
