Mirador is 8th and most recent release from the archives of original Voïvod bassist Jean-Yves Thériault and his Minemine Records label. Each one of these has proven to be a priceless documentation of the classic band’s live chops or working processes. In this case, Mirador is an early rough mix of the band’s masterpiece Killing Technology and while it doesn’t sound massively different from the final mix, it’s unique enough to present the album in a different light. I’m a massive Voïvod fanatic, so this kind of stuff for me is what it’s all about! Mad respect to Jean-Yves for willing these archival tapes into such excellent releases!
2025 limited Canadian pressing on Minemine Rscords. Hand-numbered and signed by Blacky. Excellent.
