If you’ve ever seen the film Last Days Here, you’ll appreciate the terrible state that Bobby Liebling was in during much of the 2000s, literally smoking crack on camera while being interviewed in his parent’s sub-basement. Grim stuff. Apparently, Dave Sherman was one of the folks there for Bobby in these dark time and recorded some basement demos with him and other friends such as Gary Isom and Russ Strahan sometime between 2004-06. Originally available as a CDr called “I Pleed The 5th” under the Bobby Liebling’s Ram Family moniker, the recordings were properly released by Svart Records under the listed titles and it’s some pretty awesome stuff, even if not the best representation of Liebling, seeing as he was strung out as fuck here and it shows. Killer jams though… damn.
