The song “Doko E” originally appears on the album Limited Edition as a short bit, running at just 2:28. This album is not a live concert as the title may indicate, but is actually the run through of “Doko E” at Can’s Inner Space studio on Cologne during the sessions for what would become the Future Days album. My guess is that the band found the track a bit too long and meandering for use on a proper album, so barring the segment used on Limited Edition, and subsequently Unlimited Edition, the complete version was shelved, This release features the full unedited work through and it’s quite amazing. Real quick, this is a proper studio recording and does not sound like a bootleg. The band run through a ton of passages and vibes with some being mind blowing and at other points you can feel the band not jiving as certain elements come into play…,they then work through it into another part without ever stopping. Truly artistic process caught on tape. Complete song length is 36:25 and it’s absolute tits!
