This is of course the comprehensive Waxwork reissue of the Phantasm movie soundtrack and it may be one of the greatest soundtracks I’ve ever had the pleasure of listening to independently of the movie. Phantasm also happens to be one of my all time favorite horror movies, so I am all in on this set! Fuck yes!
2025 US release from Waxwork Records and it’s beautiful! My amazing friend Jarrod (an avid Waxwork soundtracks collector) floated this my way once he realized he had double ordered and I am forever in his debt. Link to the original’79 release.
