Picking back up on my Steppenwolf collection with Monster, which is the band’s fourth proper studio album. No big hits on this one, but it’s still an excellent record and the title track is a pretty heavy sendup of America’s problems, sadly still relevant today only more so. I’ve said it before, but Steppenwolf is tragically overlooked and have an incredibly strong discography outside of their well known hits.
1969 US pressing on Dunhill/ABC Records. I somehow have like thee copies of this LP kicking around, but this one is by far the cleanest.
