Antarctica is part of Darla Records’ “Bliss Out” series of which I am only familiar with two; this, and the Volume 4 installment by Amp. Both are great. This quiet lo-fi movement in the 90s was just fantastic. Labels like Darla, Kranky, and Constellation all had deep artist rosters, much of which is worth digging into.
2025 US reissue from Darla Records and it sounds phenomenal. So glad to see this available again as the original LP pressing has been an expensive consideration for some time now.
