C.A. Quintet was an avant-garde psychedelic act out of Minneapolis that never gained any national attention during their active years of 1966-71. Trip Thru Hell was their only album at the time was self-produced and locally released without proper distribution, so only people in the Minneapolis region would have known about the album. Over the years it became a cult classic, making those original LPs incredibly difficult to get. This is actually the first official official reissue and it’s a seriously wild platter of psychedelic rock in the best kind of way.
