This album is a massive slab of crushing doom! To be brief, this one of the heaviest albums Black Sabbath has ever released, regardless of the band’s moniker this time out. Ronnie James Dio is the shining light here and he delivers one of the greatest vocal performances of his life. Tony, Geezer, and Vinnie are all in top form and you can really feel the connection between them through their playing. The originators reclaim the throne this time out. Masterpiece!
