Black Sabbath by any other name! Heaven & Hell is of course the reincarnation of the Ronnie James Dio fronted Black Sabbath, but renamed Heaven & Hell to keep the peace with Ozzy’s camp I might of reunions of the original lineup… however, this also means that the band is released from having to cover other Sabbath eras can can focus exclusively on Dio era material, which is sort of a treat, to be honest. This triple live LP albums is the band’s first release and it’s a sting live effort that nicely covers all of the Dio fronted Sabbath eras nicely. Amazing how fresh these guys all sound at this stage of their respective careers. Fucking awesome.
2026 global reissue as part of the Breaking Out Of Heaven box set that covers the 2007-2009 era of this phenomenal, yet sadly too brief era of this band.
