Precious Cargo is a collection of rehearsal or demo recordings made in October-November of 1970 and shelved for ages. Recorded live to a 2-channel reel-to-reel deck, the production is minimal and a bit low fidelity overall, but the tunes sound good, even if they play like unrefined jams and ideas getting worked out. I absolutely love hearing good musicians developing their sounds, and this fits the bill all the way. Good stuff.
