Contradictions Collapse is Meshuggah’s first full length album and it’s a pretty healthy slab of technical thrash metal. The band haven’t quite developed their renowned discordant, weird as fuck time signatures all over the place sound, but they are clearly on their way. Solid full length debut by any measure and a great spin anytime.
2018 European reissue from Nuclear Blast and it’s a doozy. Alternate cover artwork is definitely an improvement.
