The Shiver were a Swiss heavy psychedelic rock band that released just one excellent album in ‘69..: and here we are! Walpurgis is heavy blues and psychedelic rock with some overt progressive rock bits throughout and it pretty much smokes. Funny little album, but damn, it’s good tunes. One of the earliest album covers to feature artwork by the iconic HR Giger.
2024 Spanish reissue from Sommar and it’s an excellent release, all around.
