Bokaj Retsiem is, obviously “Meister Jakob” spelled backwards. What maybe isn’t obvious to some of us in the Americas is that this is a reference to some what kids show of the same name that was popular in France and Germany in the early TV days. While I’ve never seen the show, the album is a nice psychedelic heavy rock album with some notable krautrock vibes. Overall, it’s more of a curiosity than anything else, but it does make for a good spin. Includes Peter Hecht and Dieter Horns, both of whom would go on to found the excellent proto metal.band, Lucifer’s Friend.
2013 Italian reissue on the Himalaya label. Found this in Amsterdam recently and it sounds real nice.
