Brujerizmo is the third full length album from Brujeria and while it’s the last effort of the (mostly) classic incarnation of this wild project, the band seems to have lost its mojo a little bit. Main Fear Factory songwriting force Dino Cazares was definitely in a bit of a slump at this point if you follow his main band and it shows here too. Still, the record doesn’t totally suck, it’s just a bit tepid in comparison to the first two. Brujeria would go on to release a few more albums, but this probably the end of the road for me… at least until it isn’t, hah.
2024 French reissue from Listenable Records. I found all of these full length Listenable reissues at Real Groovy in Auckland, NZ a couple of weeks ago and they were heavily discounted (brand new), so hadda make it happen. All yellow vinyl for some reason.
