Early Clutch is some bold ass music! These fellas never quite fit into any traditional or marketable framework and really just didn’t seem to give a fuck. Out of step heavy rock jams and the band is not afraid to simply try out some different styles and some off the wall shit on their albums back in these days. Elephant Riders, fuckers.
2016 UK/EU reissue from Let Them Eat Vinyl and it smokes. I have this tri-fold LP-sized promo thing that I picked up in Santa Fe, when the album originally came out (see photo below).
