The band called Man initially formed in Wales and were somewhat prolific in their early days having already released five studio albums and a live album between 1969-1974, making Back Into The Future their sixth studio album and seventh overall. It’s also their first double LP release and is allegedly a renewed push in a progressive rock direction. I should probably note that I haven’t so far spent much time listening to Man albums, so can’t make a lot of comparisons at this point. Still working through the first side, but I dig it so far.
Edit: this record takes a lot of different space rock directions that I did not expect to materialize. Loving it.
