Epidemic was the debut album of Seattle thrash merchants, Panic. These guys leaned a bit toward the groove metal part of the thrash scene that Pantera would eventually dominate, but before they broke, established acts like Anthrax, Sacred Reich, and even Death Angel were already dipping into the style.Panic does a great job here, while still holding down the solid ass thrash riffage. Produced by Gary Holt and Rick Hunolt of Exodus and it sounds great.
2022 US limited reissue from M-Theory Audio/Metal Blade Records. Gotta say, this one is absolutely badass.
