Rock Believer marks the very first time I have ever bought a Scorpions album brand new. It’s also a surprisingly excellent album for a band in this very late stage of their career. Having Mikkey Dee join on drums has not only invigorated their sound, he seems to have inspired Schenker to up the riffage and the song craft to old school levels of greatness.. This album actually fucking rocks.
2022 European special edition pressing on Vertigo/Universal Music Group. So very nice.
