Eroc - Eroc 3 (1979)

I wasn’t quite sure what I was getting into with Eroc 3 and almost didn’t pick it up when I stumbled across it recently. Then after a spinning Eroc’s second album last night, which is heavy on the sound collage front, I was sure this wouldn’t be good. But hey, this album is actually pretty decent. It still has a bit of experimental and sound collage moments, but it somehow manages to remain a cohesive listening experience. I still think Eric’s solo debut is his best release, but this one is decent. Not for everyone, but if you are already into Grobschnitt and/or weird krautrock, this could be worth a listen

1980-81 German repress on Brain and its solid. Picked up this one, along with Eroc’s debut at a shop called Red Light Records… literally in the red light district of Amsterdam, hah. Seriously fantastic shop if you’re looking for prog records.
