Jumping ahead to 1986 with Midnight Madness And Beyond as G.B.H ride their early (much deserved) success in an ever changing musical landscape. Midnight Madness is still pretty true tot he band’s original sound, but maybe not quite as strong as City Baby’s Revenge… or maybe the whole thrash and crossover movements were moving so fast, it sort of fell between the cracks? I don’t remember this one being as big of a deal, but the band definitely maintained momentum from here, so maybe that’s unique to the scene I was in. Pretty good album, regardless.
