After a moderate level of success with Metal Rendez-vous, Krokus dial in their sound a bit with Hardware. While not as highly regarded as its predecessor, it’s no less a pretty solid and heavy hitting piece of work. Tight, really good song craft, and honestly kind of an ass-kicking record. I did not appreciate these fellas back in the 80s so much, but due to my arrogant metal elitism back then, I get to enjoy a fresh take on them all these years later. Fucking great.
1981 US pressing on Ariola Records America. This version seems to have a different track order than other pressings, but I have come to prefer the this version over the standard track order.
