As most metal peeps know, Mike Scheidt is the vocalist/guitarist and driving force behind Eugene, Oregon doom lords YOB. This is however an all acoustic neofolk album and it’s generally loaded up with late night wind down vibes, which I dig it on occasion. Scheidt’s falsetto vocals are haunting and somewhat beautiful and it’s great to hear him donthis type of music. Dude is a pretty unique talent. As a one-off, this is a very nice LP. Recorded and mixed by none other than PNW legend Tad Doyle!
