This is a badass bootleg release featuring two Samhain shows from 1984. Side A features a full set of the band at the Jockey Club in Newport, NJ on Sept 16, 1984, while side B also features a full set from ‘84 but the actual details are unknown. Side is locked in from the start, but the second side takes a little bit for that live mix to get dialed in. The band is absolutely killing during both shows, but the Jockey Club is the best recording. This record is way better than it should be.
1988 US pressing by Fiend Club. Sleeve says made in W. Germany, but Discogs says US. It’s a bootleg, yo. I think I had this for years before i realized it was purple, haha.
