I learned of Astral Tomb from their appearance on the 4-way split Chasm Of Aeons and to be honest, their contribution was the most unrefined track on the comp. Yet, something about their sound intrigued me enough that I recently bought Soulgazer, their debut album and this is some absolutely insane shit! Murky sounds compared to most of their tech-death peers, but there’s a heavy psychedelic and sci-fi feel about this album that gives me fucking goosebumps. I’ve not fully taken this in yet, but I think I love this weird ass record!
