This is Blue Cheer’s self titled fourth album and the band has now formally expanded to a four piece. Dickie Peterson is of course still on the bass/vox, with second guitarist Bruce Stephens and keyboard/piano player Burns Kellogg, both of whom debuted on New! Improved! staying onboard along with new drummer Norman Mayell. The album is primarily heavy blues rock and while not all that original or anything, it absolutely jams.
1969 US pressing on Philips. This copy has been around and it shows, but it plays alright.
