Good Time Warrior is the first album from Lucifer’s Friend with new vocalist Mike Starrs following John Lawton’s departure to join Uriah Heep. I’ve never read or heard anything good about this record, and to be frank, it’s not very good, but not because Starrs sucks or anything. The album is written is the same lazy hard rock, with a bit of funk, style the band first rolled out in Mind Exploding. Production is good and the band can play, but they music is more or less forgettable.
1978 US white label promo edition on Elektra and it sounds great for a not very good album.
