Complete Death II is of course the second installment of the Death Records label compilation series featuring up and coming crossover acts of the time. While a pretty solid compilation, the bands here seem a bit less known than those featured on the first Complete Death, but honestly that’s part of the charm this time out. But hey, School Of Violence, Lethal Aggression, the Debumanizers, and of course Angkor Wat were somewhat established. A bit of a time capsule of obscure punk/metal/crossover acts. Awesome.
1988 US pressing on Death Records/Restless Records. I recently picked this up in Boston and it’s a great copy. Getting a chuckle out of the In the tradition of Metal Massacre series…” bit on the hype sticker, considering this series lasted exactly two installments.
