After the release of L’Ethique in 1982, Richard Pinhas, citing a lack of inspiration, embarked on a long hiatus from releasing music. He returned in 1992 with FFW and then released the Cyborg Sally album in collaboration with former member of Spacecraft and occasional Heldon contributor, John Livengood. I am still taking this one in, but my initial take is that this feels somewhere in the digital, post 70s krautrock vein integrated with early 1990s industrial aesthetics… like a shade of Ministry or Skinny Puppy, but on its own planet, for sure.
2016 French RSD release from SouffleContinu Records. Nice pressing ans the only vinyl edition of this album to exist as of the date of this post. Link is just one track from this 2xLP set as I cannot find a stream for the full album.
