After the Elephant Riders touring cycle, Clutch found themselves without a record deal so they opted to record Jam Room entirely on their own and formed a label called River Road Records to get this out there. I bought the original River Road CD direct from the band and it came without artwork or anything, but it was cool as fuck to get an entire album without any label involvement. The band really stretches it all out here with zero fucks given. Such a gem.
2004 US/EU reissue from Megaforce Records and it’s real nice. Realized tonight that this LP has three more tracks than the original CD. Ain’t complaining.
