Emerson, Lake & Palmer - Welcome Back My Friends To The Show That Never Ends ~ Ladies And Gentlemen (1974)

 Hot on the heels of the success generated from Brain Salad Surgery, ELP drops this massive triple-LP live set and it’s something else! Covering their first four albums, it makes for an excellent live review of all of the band’s best material. Production is good and the band is in excellent form. It’s a LOT of music to take in, but it’s a great live release.

1974 US pressing on the Manticore imprint. I bought this on the cheap at like a Half-Process books or something and you can see the cover is somewhat worn. However the LPs are in surprisingly fine condition. Another interesting note is that there’s a ballpoint pen signature that’s barely noticeable on the back of the sleeve and I am sure that it’s a legitimate Carl Palmer autograph. I used ChatGPT to try and enhance it (see last photo), but it’s tough to photograph. Anyway, what a cool record, hah.
